Purchase Instructions

Welcome to Civilized Citizen! To streamline your shopping experience, please note that our platform processes orders one item at a time. To take advantage of our flat shipping fee, please follow these steps: For the first item, select the delivery option to cover the shipping cost. For all additional items, choose the pick-up option, even though all items will ship together. This ensures you only pay one flat fee for shipping. Thank you for your understanding and happy shopping!

Refund Policy

Because everything we create is custom and made to order, all sales are final, and no returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted. However, if we made an error while creating your order or if there is a defect in the product, we will gladly recreate the item(s) free of charge within 72 hours of purchase. 

We copy and paste what the customer submits in the order when we create your item, so please make sure spelling is correct and that the phrase or location makes sense to you when using "Customized Expressions".  If there is an issue with the order that you didn’t catch before placing your order, the wrong size, wrong color, or if there is a misspelling etc., email us at civilizedcitizendesigns@yahoo.com with your order number and what you need to change or correct and we’ll gladly make adjustments as needed.

If you notice your mistake after it’s been shipped or delivered, we can not accept the return or exchange.  We can work with you and offer an additional discount for the next order. 

Shipping Policy

1. Processing

Please allow 3-5 business days for processing of order.  Processing time does not include delivery time. After processing is completed, you will receive a tracking number. Please note that our products are individually custom-printed and not off-the-shelf items. Your tracking number will be updated once USPS or UPS has received the package and it has been processed through their system.

2. Shipping

Please allow 2-5 business days for domestic shipping. We ship all orders through USPS and UPS. To ensure your package arrives in the advertised time, please make sure your address is entered correctly and includes all required and relevant information. Correct street numbers, abbreviations, buildings, and apartment numbers is very critical for ensuring timely deliveries.
